Kara Raphael-Stobe is an accomplished artist and teacher with twelve years of teaching experience from the Rushmore Ave School in Carle Place, NY. In addition to earning her B.A. in Graphic Design at C.W. Post University she completed an accelerated program for a Master’s in Art Education at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.

In August of 2009, Kara took on the challenge of painting 24 paintings in 24 hours, an event open to the public which led to her first solo exhibition. Kara featured over 200 works of art demonstrating her range as an artist. Using her less dominant hand gave birth to a female character that developed over time, child-like by design, and Kara called her Jenna. Kara created Jenna along with other lovable characters for a Love What You Boo™ book titled, Jenna Boo. Kara expresses that the world needs more art everyday. By using her imagination and creativity she hopes her passion will help inspire others to love what you boo™ one idea at a time.

Kara resides in New York with her daughters, Bella and Violet who inspire her every booday!
